About Jay
Jay Flair is an award winning (PCAM Close Up Magic 2020, 1st place) multidisciplinary artist who is sure to leave you on the edge of your seat!
Jay began her journey as a magician at the age of 12, secretly studying at home and has since performed in many different settings.
Since then, she has mentored with local magicians such as Ron Pearson, as well as many hours pouring over magic books and videos at home, going on to perform for Magic Castle, the International Brotherhood of Magicians and winning Pacific Coast Association of Magician’s Close Up category in 2020.
From busking to solo stage shows, from adult only shows to children's parties; Jay is familiar with a wide range of audiences and performance styles.
Her acts, from circus stunts to sleight of hand, make use of her experiences in life and she strives to be inclusive to all who may find themselves in her audience.
You may have caught her at St Albert’s Children’s Festival, or the Edmonton Street Performer’s Festiva Edmonton's Street Performer's Festival or The Edmonton Fringe Festival.

Jay can adapt to a wide variety of venues. For small or intimate shows, minimal space and a flat surface are sufficient. For larger events or festivals, she can bring props and equipment as needed. She will coordinate all technical requirements with you in advance to ensure a smooth performance.
